Ms. Hali R. Robinett, MPH


Bio

Ms. Hali Robinett, MPH, is Program Manager of the National Cancer Institute-sponsored Pacific Island Partnership for Cancer Health Equity (PIPCHE) at the University of Hawaiʻi Cancer Center where she has provided administrative and technical support to cancer research and capacity building grants and contracts since 1995. A graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi (UH) School of Public Health, Ms. Robinett has committed over 30 years to advancing public health in Hawaiʻi and in the U.S. Associated Pacific Island jurisdictions, starting with a Peace Corps assignment in the Republic of the Marshall Islands (1987-1989). She has brought leadership and expertise to several non-profit boards and associations, having served as former chair of Hawaiʻi's Tobacco Prevention and Control Trust Fund, former president of the UH School of Public Health Alumni Association, and, among other roles, former president of the Hawaiʻi Public Health Association (HPHA, 2019-2020). A member of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health since 2013, and former chair of HPHA’s 2012 Pacific Global Health Conference, Ms. Robinett is dedicated to improving the quality of the field and bringing new opportunities, partnerships and resources to the public health community in the Hawaiʻi-Pacific region.
